New Moon in Virgo and what it means for you. If you were born on the 8th 9th 10th of any month take particular note of what is said for your sign – for things are about to happen
Aries: No matter what your Inner Self is saying it’s time to focus on the following: this New Moon takes place in your Solar 6th. It’s time to take stock of your health and well being. You’ve had a tough few years (Uranus and Jupiter in Pisces – your solar 12th) where you’ve not been your usual self, have you? Now it’s time to prioritise, to sit down, pen in hand and write down your goals for the future. Time to find the right work/play balance and to set systems in motion for when Uranus and Jupiter enter your sign in a 2011 you won’t know yourself! During the coming weeks (until the sun enters Libra) take some ‘time out’ for YOU. Re-charge those batteries, re-think your ‘game plan’ and stick to it. Self expression should be your keyword and if you’re not ‘expressing’ You then who can you blame when everyone ignores you? “Stop thinking the whole world is having a good time and you’re missing out.”
Taurus: Time to organise a party for life has been a little serious of late, time to get out and about and enjoy yourself with those you love. Seriously, the younger ‘bulls’ might find the love of their lives and the older ‘bulls’ just might find a little more romance with their partner of choice. Talking of choice, there’ll be a few options come your way to either, spend money, invest money or even win a little something for lady luck is looking your way. Your inner self is asking you to look at your wardrobe and throw out all those garments you haven’t worn in a while! I know you don’t like ‘culling’ but believe me when I say, “if you haven’t worn or used something for 3 months or longer you don’t really need it! A Taurean friend of mine was telling me the other day how much pressure he’d experienced on the parental front where every hour or so he’d get a phone call from one or the other and it was getting him down. I said: “it’ll be okay, hang in there, endure the sacrifice and it’ll all come good” – well now it will.
Gemini: Where you live and the life style you’ve created is what this New Moon is all about so it’s time to take a good look at your environment, those born to the dates mentioned above will see a change to their life style, a renovation/alteration to their house, some new furniture or fixture. Life style changes include planning for the future, forgetting the past, throwing out all those useless magazines, papers, books, records (vinyl) cassettes, video tapes you no longer read, watch or listen to! Some parental issues might arise for those born to the dates above so if you haven’t heard from mum or dad in a while get on the phone today and see how they are. If they’ve gone to their grave a long time ago it’s time to dig out the old photos and have another look at your memories (maybe a new frame for the ones you already have!). If you’ve got itchy feet and want to go somewhere, be patient for your ruler (Mercury) is retro at the moment but will turn direct on the 12th so hang in there for another few days. And by the way, it’s time to upgrade your computer, telephone plan, back up your systems – get organised for when the Sun enters Libra there’ll be a busy few weeks ahead and you don’t want to waste the Sun in Libra fixing up what you neglected over the next few weeks, do you?
Cancer: All the cardinal signs (and you’re one of them) are feeling the pressure of the ‘stars’ yet, this New Moon is offering you the opportunity to change your routines, nothing radical for the moment just a few minor ones, maybe read a different paper, watch a new television channel, listen to a new radio programme, take a different road to work or, a few little changes to your everyday routine, a different time for your breakfast, lunch or dinner, a different setting to the same old same old. Anything to bring a little variety your way and when your Inner Self ‘talks’ to you, he or she will be saying it’s time to get out of any rut you’ve allowed yourself to wallow in – take heed and do what needs to be done. This Moon falls in the house of your Conscious Mind (no room for sentimentality) so think as clearly as you can, say what you mean and mean what you say and if someone browbeats you in any debate – stick to your guns “you know you’re right.” Although we have no control over things ‘out there’ we have 100% control over how we think about them – as I said, no room for sentimentality this month...
Leo: You don’t need me to tell you, this New Moon ‘falls’ in your solar house of income and earnings, more so if you’re born to the dates mentioned. Apart from focusing on what’s coming and what’s going out it’s time to save a little for that ‘rainy day’ or little ‘luxury’ that’ll come your way sooner than you know. Some of you will hit the department stores seeking a bargain or two, others will be returning something you thought you could not live without, every one of you will be looking at your value system, self worth and self esteem and if you’ve been selling yourself short lately it’s time to put a bigger price tag to your talents. If you don’t value YOU no one else will! Take a look at what you’re eating, the food you’re buying, the pills (medical or supplemental) you’re taking, the restaurants (or lack thereof) you visit and see if you’re denying or overdoing it! Leo’s should never deny themselves anything yet many do – think about it and make the necessary adjustments.
Virgo: Apart from wishing you a “Happy Solar Return” this New Moon is all about YOU and how YOU see your SELF. Your sign is known for its self sacrifice, for looking after others, for being there in times of trouble, I have news for you: The Universe wants to reward you for your labour if only you’ll accept her/his gifts. A compliment or two could come your way (more so the dates mentioned) a new sense of fun will permeate your personality (and no one has a more wicked sense of fun than a Virgo). I had a Virgo friend who was a quiet as a church mouse until he relaxed within a social setting and the stories and yarns he told had us rolling in the aisles with laughter – he’ no longer with us but his stories linger on! All you Virgo’s out there are in for a treat in the coming weeks and when you find yourself regaling your tales of ‘suffering, penance and sacrifice’ allow others to laugh with you for you and only you have the ‘unfathomable strength’ to cope. Libra: Okay, it’s a tough New Moon for you for it takes place in the month before your birthday, always a time when we need more rest and recreation yet, your ‘angels’ are watching over you! We all get a taste of the Moon before our birthday so don’t think it’s only you yet, having Saturn in your sign is making you a tad more serious (or melancholic) than usual along with the ‘cardinal cross’ you’ll hear about from various sources (Libra is a cardinal sign, along with Aries, Cancer and Capricorn). If you cannot find the time to relax and be in the moment you’ll suffer needlessly for when the New Moon appears in our solar 12th (as is for you) it’s time to retreat, reflect and ponder where we are in the scheme of things. The universe is infinite and a wonderous place - let it flow through you and re-kindle your connection with all that IS...
Scorpio: What can I say? It’s time to update your wishes and dreams for the future, not by some airy fairy visualisation but by getting out there and doing as the adage “God helps those who help themselves” applies to you at the moment – get out there, mix and mingle, get off the computer, stop tweeting and twitting, FaceBooking, YouTubing and meet people in the flesh. A whole new social network awaits you, new people, new places, new ideas and mew friendships can be formed that will, if you let it, last a lifetime to come. This New Moon in Virgo will ask of you to forget the past (stop analysing) and move on for the future awaits you. Some of you will come in contact with a long lost relative (or, someone related to you that you’ve never known) others will talk about organ transplants, fostering a child or, subscribing to World Vision! Sagittarius: Well, you’ve had a few weeks to yourself, you’ve had plenty of time to think about your past successes and failures, you’ve contemplated on your navel long enough. It’s time to strut your stuff and show the world what you’re made of for this New Moon falls in your public persona (10th) house, more so if born to the dates mentioned. As mentioned to Cancerians this is not a time for mushy sentimentality or wallowing in self pity, the past is dead – long live the future. Career issues are on the agenda and if you haven’t worked out where you want to go for the rest of your life by now, you never will! Your ruler (Jupiter) has returned to your solar fourth and the foundations of your future can now be set in motion: “Stop seeing the hearse and funeral and see the wake!” When Jupiter turns direct in November you’d better be ready for your ship to come in and not be waiting at the airport!
Capricorn: We all need a little faith to get us through the day and all you ‘Cappies’ out there had better find your faith in a better tomorrow. Sure, life has changed for many (Pluto in Capricorn) and there’s more to come and it’s not all negative, he’ll turn direct on the 13th Sept and begin to march forward until April 2011 so have faith that what has been seemingly taken from you was only that what you have outgrown or no longer need! This cardinal cross has put more pressure on you than most, just remember: “That what does not kill you, makes you stronger” and you have more strength than you know! Capricorn ‘rules’ the knees and we all know what we need to so when we’re brought to our knees – we pray! Aquarius: Time for some serious analysis (that Virgo word again) of who you are and what you stand for – are you being true to you (the individual you know you are) or paying lip service to all and sundry (wanting everyone to like you)? This New Moon is asking you yes you, to make some real and fundamental changes to your life – not the routine changes I mentioned for Cancerians but some real heavy stuff. Give up the cigarettes, lose the weight, paying off your credit cards, cut back or give up the alcohol. If you want a ‘new look’ there’s Botox, plastic surgery, liposuction and so on but unless YOU change on the inside all you end up with is the same old chocolate with a different wrapper! You have Mars entering your Solar 4th in a couple of days and when he comes a knocking you’d better answer the door for he won’t listen to your excuses about wanting change but doing nothing about it: Read my quote above: Procrastination...
Pisces: It’s taken me some time to get you but this New Moon is in your solar 7th (more so if born to the dates above) and time for some contractual agreements! Time for relationships, connections and associations so if you’ve taken those in your life for granted it’s time to let them know you’re there – you care and let them know you love them. Younger ‘fish’ will find their soul (sole) mate in places connected with water or watering holes (pubs) not at the fishmongers – I could be wrong! Seriously, this Moon should prove a fantastic one for Pisces if you’re willing to trust in the Universe or, those already in your life. With Jupiter re-visiting the latter degrees of Pisces (he regress to 23 and then move forward) you’ll be given the chance to make improvements or some head way in your love life – some of you might even make that commitment you’ve been putting off, others might, just might, discover their one true love...
